Collection story

On the softness of Mongolian cashmere

Why we begin with the fibre — and why we let it lead every design decision.

Every EDEM piece begins with touch. Before silhouette, before colour, we ask how a knit will feel against the skin, and how it will feel in five years.

Cashmere is the undercoat of the cashmere goat, grown for warmth in a cold climate. Its fineness is what gives a well-made knit that quiet, floating softness.

Our designs stay simple so the material can be the subject: clean necklines, deliberate proportions, and textures that reward a closer look.

Details on our specific fibre sources and composition will be published here once verified.
